Advice

 

The Vale School Advice and Consultation Service is an outreach service providing guidance, advice and training for Haringey schools in relation to improved access and inclusion for children with disabilities and medical needs. This service was formally established in October 2003 and offers advice and training on:

 

. Physical access, including: risk assessments, equipment and fire evacuation 

. Manual handling training.

. School Accessibility Plans.

. Transition.

. Wheelchair skills.

. Models of support.

. Disability awareness
