Covid Update October 2022

There has been a rise in Covid cases in the community and we are following government guidance and learning to live with covid. Until now, we have been informing parents of any cases, we will no longer do this (except in a few cases where parents would lilke us to). Testing is no longer required so there will be asymptomatic cases about. Whether tests are used or not, we are following advice and adhering to the guidance below - and ask that you do too:
  • If you have any symptoms of a respiratory infection, and a high temperature or feel unwell, try to stay at home or away from others – especially those who are elderly or vulnerable
  • Ensure that any children and young people who have a high temperature and are unwell do not attend the education or childcare setting until they no longer have a high temperature and are well enough to attend.
We will also continue with our precautionary good ventilation, masks where necessary and good hygiene measures.

If you are particularly concerned and would still wish to be informed if there is a known case in your child's class, then please let me know.
